The Philippine American Association of North Carolina Inc. (PAANC) measures success by the strength of our community and the lives we touch. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit EST. 1984, we have dedicated four decades to providing a "home away from home" while delivering tangible support through our four core pillars. From local scholarships to international disaster relief, our impact is felt across generations.

NCAAT
PAANC joins forces with North Carolina Asian-Americans Together (NCAAT).
NCAAT is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization committed to supporting equity and justice for all by fostering community among Asian Americans and allies in North Carolina through civic engagement, leadership development, grassroots mobilization and political participation.
PAANC partners with the Philippine Nurses Association of North Carolina (PNANC) to support It aims to rally them to take an active role in promoting the advancement of the nursing profession while contributing to the development of a positive nursing image responsive to the metamorphosing health care arena and cognizant of a national nursing shortage that is threatening delivery of quality health care.
PAANC takes a stance against human trafficking by supporting People’s Recovery Empowerment Development Assistance Foundation (PREDA), a Philippine human rights social development organization whose mission is to help the most vulnerable people in society and overcome injustice and poverty. PREDA provides direct action for abused children, rescuing them and protecting them.
PHILIPPINES IN THE RELIEF EFFORT
PAANC offers assistance to communities affected by disasters (natural or otherwise) through our partnership with Caritas, which delivers basic necessities and helps in the recovery and rebuilding of devastated communities.
Caritas, Philippines is the social services and development arm of the Archdiocese of Manila.
ON HUNGER RELIEF MINISTRY
In partnership with St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh, PAANC Outreach Committee participates in Panera’s Day-End Dough-Nation program through which thousands of pounds of unsold bread and baked goods are donated to those in need in our community and the surrounding areas. Our outreach coordinator recruits and schedules volunteers to pick up and deliver these goods to local food pantries and low-income senior centers weekly.
FILIPINO-AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF JACKSONVILLE, NC
PAANC teamed up with the Bayanihan Filipino-American Association of Jacksonville to increase our impact in the Taal recovery efforts after the volcano erupted in January of this year, leaving thousands of villagers displaced and losing their only source of livelihood as farmlands were destroyed.

While our primary focus is on serving North Carolina, our Humanitarian pillar often involves partnerships with international relief agencies to provide aid during natural disasters in the Philippines. These collaborations ensure that the support from our local community reaches those in need effectively and transparently.
